Twin Buttes Topographic Map Project
Rube Goldberg Project
A rube goldberg is accomplishing a very simple task by very complex and unnecessary ways. One requirement for this project is that it had to have 15 steps. The steps are when one moving object transfers it's energy to the next. The others were that it had to be 15 seconds long, and have 3 simple machines (example: RC helicopter, mouse trap). It also couldn't be over 3 feet tall. This was a very fun and engaging project. I really learned a lot with collaboration in this project, and have grew very strong in this habit of heart and mind.

Rocket Project Reflection

The rocket project was a very fun and entertaining project. There was a lot of refining in this project and that was a challenge for me. I like to get things done fast and over with quickly. I loved the creativity and the freedom in this project. People had to really think outside of the box and experiment with their designs. The exhibition went pretty well. The rocket didn’t go very high, but the parachute deployed and it made a slow descent which was good. I was very nervous and crossed my fingers tight right before the rocket fired.
My partner was Wyeth in this project. The days my partner was here we worked pretty efficiently and completed a lot of work. He was just gone a lot of the days in this rocket project and that’s what slowed our work time down. All in all I thought this was a great first project and I am very excited to see what comes next in this physics class.
